Day 4: Extract key information, vocab, and grammar from a YouTube video
Exercises
- Find a YouTube video related to a place where your target language is spoken, in that language. (For example: sites to visit in [place], top 10 things to do in [country] .
- Open the Microsoft Edge browser. If you don't already have it, you can download it here.
- Open your YouTube video in the Edge browser.
- In the chat box, ask Copilot to tell you some of the best things to see/do in that place, using this prompt:
- " Based on the video, what are the [10] most important [places to visit/things to do] in [place]? Why?"
- Then, use Copilot to explore the grammatical tenses used in your video with this prompt:
- " Extract all the verbs used in this video and create a four-column table with the root form of the verb, the way it's used in the video, the tense it's in, and the sentence it appears in in the video."
